MOLLY NILSSON DAYS OF DUST

Swedish synth-popper Molly Nilsson has been sharing a steady stream of shimmering singles in the run up to the release of her new album 2020. New track 'Days of Dust' follows dreamy List Picks 'Serious Flowers' and 'A Slice of Lemon', adding a further layer of anticipation with its retro drum machine, bouncing bass line and life-affirming claps in the background. Nilsson's casually-delivered, effects-heavy vocals once again float gracefully above the mix as she sings the melancholy opening line, 'It's over now, maybe I'll finally break'. Despite its gloomy subject matter, there's a definite air of hope and a whiff of Bryan Adams' 'Summer of 69' about 'Days of Dust' and we say that with the best possible intentions.
